Rasheeda Jones is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, author, and wellness educator based in Los Angeles. She is the creator of Mental Note by Imani Tawfiq, a healing-centered platform offering workshops, writing spaces, and tools like the Mental Note Cards.

With a master’s in social work from Clark Atlanta University, Rasheeda has spent her career supporting children, families, and communities affected by trauma, incarceration, and systemic injustice. Her work blends clinical expertise with storytelling and restorative practices to promote self-love, healing, and resilience.

She has guest lectured at Clark Atlanta University, California State University of Los Angeles, Florida A&M University, and Mills University, offering insights at the intersection of mental health, social justice, education, and writing. Through her talks and workshops Rasheeda creates space that nurtures emotional healing, personal growth, and collective empowerment.

She is the author of a children’s book titled, Justice which addresses the impacts of incarceration on children and families and the co-author of Justice for Omar, about her brother’s fight for justice. She has facilitated workshops nationwide, helping educators, students, and families transform their experiences into purpose-driven change.

Through all her work, Rasheeda inspires others to navigate hard experiences with compassion, courage, and care.
